M/s.New Tirupur Area Development Corporation Ltd. (NTADCL) has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday, 24th December, 2025 with M/s. Craftsman Automation Ltd. Coimbatore which is set to receive a total water supply of 1 Million litres per day (MLD). The project involved laying down pipeline for a total length of 28 kms from our WDS 13 at Kaniampoondi.
The MoU signing ceremony took place at the Corporate Office of M/s.Craftsman Automation Ltd., Coimbatore, in the presence of Thiru Hanish Chhabra, I.A.S. Managing Director of NTADCL.
The customer, M/s.Craftsman Automation Ltd., is a leading Indian engineering and manufacturing company established in 1986 and headquartered in Coimbatore. The company operates through multiple business verticals, including Aluminium Products like aluminium die-cast and machined components for automotive and electric vehicle applications, Powertrain Products, Industrial & Engineering Products, and Storage Solutions with an annual turnover of around Rs.5000 crore.
Tiruppur Palladam Water Schemes LLP for which the MoU was signed between NTADCL and Tiruppur Palladam Water Schemes LLP on 8th November 2024, has been inaugurated on 31st October 2025
The project involved laying down pipeline for a total length of 108 kms from WDS 21 located at Iduvampalayam. This includes 48 kms of main pipeline (Tirupur via Palladam – Panikkampatti) and 60 kms of branch pipeline (Karadivavi - Pappampatti - Chettipalayam)
The cluster will draw 1 MLD of water initially and increasing gradually to 5 MLD. It will benefit around 130 cluster members across various sectors such as poultry, textile mills, engineering etc.
M/s New Tiruppur Area Development Corporation Limited (NTADCL) has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday, 14th October, 2025 with M/s Gangapuram Water Projects (GWP), Erode, which is set to receive a total water supply of approximately 1.5 million litres per day (MLD).
The MoU signing ceremony took place at the Corporate Office of New Tirupur Area Development Corporation Limited, Chennai in the presence of Thiru Hanish Chhabra, I.A.S., Managing Director of NTADCL.
Water will be supplied from the Transmission Main near Gangapuram, which will benefit around 13 cluster members in the field of dyeing and bleaching industries in Erode District.
Senjerimalai Water Project for which the MoU was signed between NTADCL and Senjerimalai Water Project LLP on 8th November 2024, has been inaugurated on 2nd July 2025
The project involved laying down pipeline for a total length of 97 kms from WDS 21 located at Iduvampalayam. This includes 42 kms of main pipeline (Tirupur via Palladam – Senjerimalai - Kattampatti) and 55 kms of branch pipeline (Negamam – Kinathukadavu)
The cluster will draw 1.5 MLD of water initially and increasing gradually to 4.5 MLD. It will benefit about 70 cluster members spread across various sectors like coir industries, educational institutions, activated carbon company, engineering industries, food industries etc.
M/s New Tiruppur Area Development Corporation Limited (NTADCL) has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Friday, 30th May, 2025 with Perundurai to Kangeyam Water Project Welfare Association (Tiruppur), which is set to receive a total water supply of approximately 2.5 million litres per day (MLD).
The MoU signing ceremony took place at New Tirupur Area Development Corporation Limited, Tirupur in the presence of Thiru Hanish Chhabra, I.A.S., Managing Director of NTADCL.
NTADCL’s water supply to this Welfare Association will benefit 40 cluster members across sectors such as textiles, rice mills, poultry, manufacturers of plastic products etc. in Tiruppur / Erode District.
NTADCL signed three (3) MoUs with TIDCO on 29th March 2025 for supplying water to three upcoming industrial parks in Tirupur – Coimbatore region being jointly promoted by TIDCO and State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamilnadu Ltd (SIPCOT).

Water will be supplied from Water Distribution Station (WDS 24) located at Murugampalayam and will add 8.5 MLD to the industrial water supply by NTADCL.

NTADCL’s water supply to these industrial clusters will benefit 16 cluster members across sectors such as food, oil extract & refineries, rice industries and for hostels in Tiruppur District.
M/s New Tiruppur Area Development Corporation Limited (NTADCL) has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Friday, 8th November, 2024 with three prominent industrial clusters at Tiruppur and Coimbatore, for the supply of water, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable water management for industries and domestic customers in the region. The three clusters—Gudimangalam Water Project LLP (Tiruppur), Tiruppur Palladam Water Schemes LLP (Tiruppur), and Senjerimalai Water Project LLP (Coimbatore)—are set to receive a total water supply of approximately 13.5 million litres per day (MLD).
The MoU signing ceremony took place at the Municipal Administration and Water Supply (MAWS) Department Conference Hall in the Secretariat at Chennai . The event was graced by Dr. D. Karthikeyan, I.A.S., Principal Secretary of MAWS and Thiru Hanish Chhabra, I.A.S., Managing Director of NTADCL.
NTADCL’s water supply to these industrial clusters will benefit 228 cluster members across sectors such as coir, agriculture, education, activated carbon, real estates, pump and poultry in the Tiruppur and Coimbatore regions. Currently, NTADCL supplies around 165 MLD of potable water to both industrial and domestic customers, maintaining quality through rigorous testing in our NABL-accredited lab and delivering water at competitive rates. This partnership aligns with NTADCL's mission to sustainably support industrial and domestic water needs, setting a benchmark in urban/rural infrastructure development and water supply in India.
